Who We Are

SOS Job Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization registered in Florida since October 2013, dedicated to combat extreme poverty and high unemployment in the northern Port-au-Prince suburbs (Delmas, Tabarre & Croix-des-Bouquets). This organization, through some well-structured programs, provides financial literacy, and micro loans at 0% interest rate to low income individuals (small vendors or small business owners), who are unable to obtain a loan from a bank or other lending institutions, in order to generate an income to sustain themselves and their families. The foundation also helps create dozen of new jobs every year which support women entrepreneurship through business plan competition and technical scholarships and job training.
